Robert E. Buck, 67, of Guysville, Ohio, died Friday, Apr. 16, 2004, at his home.

He was born at Lumberport, the son of the late Theodore and Ruthford Parks Buck.

He was a graduate of Calhoun County High School and was a former employee of B&O Railroad and CSX Railroad, where he was a track foreman for 30 years.

Surviving are his wife of 35 years, Donna Metcalf Buck; two sons, Edward Buck and Daniel Buck, both of Guysville; one daughter, Debora Beck of Guysville; seven brothers, Harold Buck of Cleveland, Ohio, Eugene Buck and wife Bonnie of Big Springs; Donald Buck of Coolville, Ohio, and Denzyl Buck, Charles Buck, Delbert Buck and Ronnie Buck, all of Guysville; three sisters, Opal Swisher of Grantsville, Thelma Cooper of Clinton, Ohio, and Delma Martin of Nelsonville, Ohio; two granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Clarence Buck.

Services were held at Jagers and Sons Funeral Home, Athens, Ohio, with Pastor Monte McCune officiating. Burial was in Wyers Cemetery, Guysville.
