L. Baker Nicholson, one of the best known citizens of this county, died shortly before 11 o'clock last night at his home, at Dickerson, aged fifty-seven years. He had been ill for some time of heart and lung trouble. His wife and several sons and two daughters survive him. He was quite active in Democratic politics.
