Searchers found the victim's coat, hat and vest laying on the shore, where he apparently left them when he either jumped or fell into the water.
Surviving is a son Farris Oilar of East Chicago; and 2 brothers, Ben of Camby, Oregon and Asa of Battle Ground; also several grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 4 p.m. at the Thompson funeral home at Brookston, with the Rev. C. A. Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery at Brookston.
