Canton – Margaret O. Hedden, 91, died at 3:35 am, Monday, February 28, 2011 at the Heartland Health care in Canton.
She was born on August 25, 1919 in Canton to William and Edna Evans Baxter.
She married Lloyd Z. Hedden on July 5, 1940 in Canton. He survives.
Also surviving are three daughters Pamela (Rick) Sanford of Sugar Grove, Peggy (Marty) Buskirk of Canton, Susan (Gordon) Freeman of Canton, six grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Three sisters Helen Miller, Billie Flanagan and Betty Malin preceded Margaret in death.
She retired in 1975 from Spoon River Electrical, a member of the 1st Baptist church in Canton and she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton. Visitation will be held one hour prior. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Fulton County Humane Society.
