Enid, OK — A memorial service for James "Bo" Chapmond, 42, of Hennessey will be 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22, 2008, at Hennessey High School Auditorium. The Rev. Robyn Thompson-Goggs will officiate. His body was donated to science at his request. Arrangements are by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home, Hennessey.
He was born Jan. 30, 1966, in Oklahoma City to Wayne LeRoy and Ethel Fipps Tillman Chapmond and died Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2008, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center.
He graduated from Hennessey High School in 1984. He attended Kansas State University and later transferred to Southwestern Oklahoma State University, Weatherford.
Surviving are his mother, Ethel Tillman of Hennessey; his father, Wayne Chapmond of Hondo, Texas; one son, Colby Chapmond of Hennessey; one daughter, Carley Chapmond of Bourne, Texas; five brothers, Bill Tillman of Hennessey, John Tillman of Woodward, Mike "Crazy" Tillman of Crescent, Tony Chapmond of Norman, and Todd Chapmond of San Antonio, Texas.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to American Cancer Society.
