Elvira V. Bon Our beautiful Mother has passed away peacefully, surrounded by all of her loving family on February 21, 2011. Born in Ajo, AZ on August 14, 1932.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 54 years, Jorge V. Bon; children, George Bon (Nora), Dorina Bon, Jose Bon, Edilia Bon Garcia (John), Mike Bon (Cynthia) and Georgina Bon (Conrad). Nana-Nana will be missed by her adoring 17 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her brothers, Pedro Vega and Felix A. Vega; sisters, Erminia Lizarraga, Carmen Ramirez and Josefina Mendez; loving sisters-in-law, Consuelo Cicero and Guadalupe Bon de Inclan. Preceded in death by her parents, Felix M. and Elvira A. Vega and Jose Bon Canastillo and Rosa Bon; sister, Enriqueta Serventi; sister-in-law, Maria Rosa Bon and brother-in-law, Heriberto Jose Bon.

The family would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude and thanks to the staff at Carondelet Hospice and Palliative Care. Querida Madre, we will live our lives as you showed us. You will be with us every step of the way, adding to the beautiful legacy you have left us. Thank you Mamacita Linda!

Visitation will be on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at MARTINEZ FUNERAL CHAPELS from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., Rosary 7:00 p.m. Mass will be on Friday, February 25, 2011 at Santa Monica Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. followed by a burial in Holy Hope Cemetery.
