June Justice Bertrand, 87, formerly of Pikeville, died Friday, November 7, 2008 in Hesperia, Ca.
She was born in Pike County, May 22, 1921, the daughter of the late Dock Washington and Maggie Ella Justice.
She was proceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Wilson Bertrand; and two daughters, Margaret Ann Bertrand and Linda Lou Bertrand.
She is survived by one son, Johnny Vaughn Bertrand of Georgetown: two daughters, Marjorie Ellen Bertrand Pour-Ghasemi of Hesperia, Ca, and Inis Sue Charles of Pikeville; two sisters, Mary J. Slone of Prestonsburg and Martha R. Justice of Phelps; one brother, Denver D. Justice of Huntington WVa; two grandsons; one granddaughter; and one great-grandson.
Cremation was performed at Victor Valley Memorial Park and Cemetery in Victorville, CA on November 13, 2008.
Interment will be in Annie E. Young Cemetery of November 22, 2008 at 1:00 P.M.
