Co-inventor and President of Technicolor. Not as well known as his ex-wife Natalie, Dr. Kalmus nonetheless was the business brains behind the Technicolor organization. As part of the crew, Natalie was always credited on a Technicolor film, but the company lost its grip in Hollywood when Natalie sued Herbert for divorce and Kalmus lost the company to her. While this occurred in 1948 there is also some indication that the two actually divorced in 1921 but continued to live and work together.
