She was born in Chico on May 20, 1910, to Nora and Archie Locey and was a resident of Butte County all of her life. She married Gene Ray on January 1, 1928, and they made their home in Durham. She was preceded in death by her husband, her daughter Nancy Farina and her grandson Douglas Ray.
"She is survived by her son, Dennis Ray of Yreka and daughter Marily Anderson of Concow. She is also survived by her grandchildren Rick Anderson, David Anderson, Mary Burgess, Charles Ray, Paul and Patrick Farina; and great-grandchildren Tony and Rebecca Burgess. She was well-loved and will be greatly missed."
