COVINGTON - Mrs. Theresa Lois Johnson Bringle, 84, died Wednesday at Baptist Memorial Hospital East in Memphis. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Maley-Yarbrough Funeral Home with burial in Walton Cemetery near Covington. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Bringle, the wife of Byars B. Bringle, also leaves a daughter, Mrs. Betty B. Fleming of Atlanta, Ga.; a son, Altha 'Buddy' Smith of Covington; three sisters, Mrs. Zilphia Ann Smith of Covington, Mrs. Lora Loar of Tupelo, Miss., and Mrs. Dorothy Goode of Thousand Oaks, Calif.; a brother, James Lee Johnson of Covington, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
