David Alan Harshbarger, 45, passed away at his home in Herndon on Wednesday, June 16, 1999.
Following services in Herndon, he was interred at Sherwood Memorial Park, Salem, on Saturday, June 19. Graveside services were conducted by Dr. Douglas Newman.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Ann; and a son, Grant. His parents are Robert E. and Dora Kathryn Harshbarger of Daleville. He also leaves a sister, Kathryn H. Overfelt, and their son, Nicholas, of Cary, N.C.
David was a graduate of Roanoke College and an employee of the General Services Administration in Washington, D.C. Local arrangements by Oakey's North Chapel.
