Nashville, GA-Mrs. Annie Mae Henderson, 76, of Route 5, Tifton (West Berrien Community), died Friday at her residnce after a short illness.
She was born June 27, 1917 in Charlton County to George Washington Morgan and Catherine Davis Morgan. A member of Zenith Baptist Church, Manor, she had lived in Berrien County for several years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fleming Folks Henderson, and a daughter, Mary Helen Browning.
She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Ronnie Hendrix of Homerville, Mrs. Ernestine Oliver of Manor, Mrs. Robert Brewer of Waycross and Mrs. Winford Nichols of the West Berrien Community; one son, Walter Edward Henderson; two sisters, Hesterann Snellgrove of Folkston and Lula Johnson of Callahan, Fla.; three brothers, George Morgan of Axson, Colonel Morgan of Folkston and Henry Morgan of Callahan, Fla.; 22 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
The funeral was held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Zenith Baptist Church, Manor, with the Rev. Charles Nicholls, the Rev. James Alton Mixon Jr. and the Rev. David Inman officiating. Burial was at the Camp Branch Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery near Manor.
The body was at the residence until the funeral. Arrangements were with Lovein Funeral Home, Nashville.
