Mrs. Acks was born June 15, 1899, in Cooksville, a daughter of John and Alice Wells Weber.
She married Linus L. Acks Nov. 22, 1917, in Cooksville. He died May 20, 1977.
Survivors include two daughters, Verdell Harris, Bloomington, and Jerri Summers, Bloomington; a grandson; two great-grandsons; and a sister, Bessie Hefner, Octavia Manor, Colfax.
Three brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
Mrs. Acks and her husband had farmed in the Saybrook and Normal areas prior to retirement.
She was a member of the Christian Church.
