Tanner A. Albers, age 33, of Prior Lake died on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at St. Francis Regional Medical Center, Shakopee.
Tanner was born in Bismarck, North Dakota on February 12, 1977 the son of Richard A. and Donna (DeCoteau) Albers. He loved his family very much and was a talented drummer with the Midnite Express Drum Group. A gifted athlete, he excelled in basketball.
Survivors include his mother, Donna Albers-Walking Elk; Hunka Father, Jerry Dearly; sisters, Holly Albers and Kelly Albers; brother, Travis Albers; half brothers, Jason McKee and Aaron Albers; special nephew, Justin Heminger; 2 children, Manuel and Tanner Jr; companion, Desiree Barrientez; grandmothers, Bonnie Miller and Alice DeCoteau; numerous special nieces and nephews.
Special brothers, Brendon Albers, Richard TallBear, Jay DustyBull, Butch Sinette, the Midnite Express and many other brothers, relatives and friends.
Tanner was preceded in death by his father, Richard; grandfathers, August Albers, Edward Buck Miller, Paul DeCoteau.
