Futrelle , Kathleen Shearouse "Miss Kitty"
Guyton - Mrs. Kathleen "Miss Kitty" Shearouse Futrelle, 102, died at her home Friday evening.
Mrs. Futrelle is the widow of Frank J. Futrelle and the mother of the late Franklin Futrelle Jr. A native of Guyton, Mrs. Futrelle was an avid Horticulturist and naturalist. She was a member of the Guyton Garden Club, The United Methodist Women and the Marie Scott Sunday School Class. She was involved in many community activities throughout her life.
"Miss Kitty" is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Richardson and Louise Dodd and her daughter-in-law, Sybil Futrelle. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A memorial worship service will be held on Sunday morning at 11 o'clock in the Guyton United Methodist Church where she as been a member all her life.
The family will gather for Graveside service later.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial be made to Guyton United Methodist Church Riggs Funeral Home Guyton
