— Thelma G. Doktor, age 99, of Le Sueur died on Saturday, February 5, 2011, at the Gardenview Nursing Home in Le Sueur.

She was born on January 14, 1912 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Albert and Amelia (Dietz) Michaelson. She attended school in St. Paul and moved with her family to the Webster, Wisconsin area. She worked as a nanny in her younger years and also worked seasonally for the Green Giant Company in Le Sueur. She married Joseph Doktor on October 1, 1929, in St. Paul. They lived in Le Sueur where she raised her children and also did baby-sitting for various families in Le Sueur. She enjoyed playing cards in her card club.

She is survived by her son, David (Delores) Doktor and a daughter, Delores (Herman) Bressler of LeSueur; 7 grandchildren, Mary Jo (Dan) Klingbeil, Jeanne (Kerry) Renneke, Judy (John) Wise, Jane (Troy) Grieves, Jill (Rod) Reinhardt, Barbara (Robin) McKee and Bradley Bressler. 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson also survive.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2011, at 11 a.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Le Sueur. Fr. George Grafsky will officiate. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery in LeSueur.
