Although family records record her husband's name as "Edwin", he is identified as "Edward" in the obit, following, as well as the handwritten ID on the photograph accompanying this memorial.

Chico Record, Wednesday Morning, May 17, 1922, pg 4 col 5: Mrs. Catherine Baker Is Called by Death at Vina. Mrs. Catherine Baker, wife of Edward Baker of Vina, died Tuesday morning at 10:55 at the family home following an illness of several weeks. The deceased was born June 14, 1847 in Missouri, but for many years had been a resident of this section.

Besides her husband the deceased is survived by four children, Mrs. R.L. Tattar [sic: Tarter] of Chico; Mrs. P.J. Schaumburg of Portland, Ore.; Mrs. Charles Ruffa and Joseph E. Baker of Vina; two sisters, Mrs. J.C. Craven of Fresno and Mrs. Martha Tucker of Monterey.

Funeral services will be conducted under the direction of Bicknell & Moore from the family home Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be made in the Vina cemetery.

Anderson Ranch Cemetery is not an active location and is located on private property. It is north of Rowles Rd and near the railroad tracks. 12 individuals are known to be buried here, although only five markers and some fencing still exist.
