ATKINS-- Oralee Rumley, was born June 11, 1904 in Benton County, AR. She was the 11th child of 12 of Annie Grimes Rumley and Houston Rumley, last to leave this world. Her only child is Madeline Louise Carter Bewley. 7 grandchildren: Ronald Warren Bewley, Judith Sharron Jabbour of Lebanon, Gary West Bewley, Linda Gayle O'Hern of Oklahoma City, Sandra Louise Skinner, Karen Kay Bowman, Gregory Knox Bewley. 11 great-grandchildren: Stewart Jabbour, Natalie Jabbour Sidawi, David A. Jabbour, Jerry Bowman, Sherry Bowman Barber, Herbert E. Elias, Jr., Eric Paul Elias, Jason West Bewley, Sarah Lynn Bewley, Ashley Ann Bewley, Lindsey Louise Bewley. 10 great-great-grandchildren: Ramsey, Jorge and Ameria Sidawi; Judy and Kristen Jabbour; Wess Bowman; Sheridan and Matthew Barber; James Herbert Elias; Spencer Paul Elias. Oralee leaves 1 first cousin, Liz Reddick Power of Aurora, MO; 5 nieces in many states; 5 nephews in many states. Oralee Rumley Carter (now Atkins) was baptized in the First Baptist Church in Joplin, MO about 1925. She came to Tulsa when Ike Mincks built his hotel at 4th Street and South Cheyenne. She had a new job with one of his relatives, Norval Harmon who opened a popular drug store soda fountain at Trenton on East 11th Street. Later she married William Bryan Atkins and they both worked for Douglas Aircraft at Long Beach, CA. They returned to Tulsa 33 years ago, when they retired. He died 12 years ago. She was a good friend to all who knew her, always helping those in need. Graveside service 10 a.m.,
