Betty Jo Hicks, 82, of Barboursville, W.Va., passed away Monday, January 31, 2011. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 2, 2011, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Betty was born October 31, 1928, in Lincoln County, a daughter of the late Marion and Lola Rayburn Holley. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Freemont Hicks. She is survived by three sons, Brent Hicks and his wife Kathi, Ricky Hicks and his wife Melissa and Ronnie Hicks and his wife Barbara; two sisters, Ellen Clagg and Ledith Salmons; six grandchildren, Heather Gerholdt, Joshua Beegle, Joshua Hicks, Laura Stewart, Ronnie Hicks and Hayden Hicks; two great-grandchildren, Audrey and Whitney Riddlebarger.
