Warren Davis Mason was born a son of John and Sydney Davis Mason, both of whom were born in Kentucky. He had brothers; William W. who died in Arkansas while in the Civil War. George Henry Mason, Joseph Ellis Mason, John Jackson Mason and Francis Marion Mason. Sisters; Sarah E. Mason, Mary M. Mason, and Rhoda K. Mason. Mr. Mason married a second time after the death of Nancy Brown Mason. He married Jennie Endora Madden on Aug. 14, 1907. She died March 19, 1929 at Hindsboro and supposedly is buried at Union cemetery in Douglas county.
