Funeral Services for Mrs. Fannie Ellis
Davis Glass Were Held Here
Tuesday Afternoon
Mrs. Fannie Ellis Davis Glass was born in the state of Missouri February 6, 1856 and died at the home of her son, D.H. Glass of 105 1/2 East Broadway Friday June 16, at 10:15 p.m. aged 77 years, following a prolonged illness.
Deceased was the daughter of Dr. Davis of Blooming Grove, Texas. She united with the Methodist Church at the age of 16 years and was a true Christian and wonderful mother.
On January 19, 1871 she was united in marriage to Wm. Henry Glass who preceded her in death January 13, 1903. To this union eleven children were born, eight having preceded her in death. Surviving are three sons, G.J. of Norfolk, Va.; D.H. Glass and family of Anadarko, and Russell Glass and family of near Carnegie, Ok., all of whom were present, together with a host of friends and neighbors.
Funeral services were held at the chapel of the Anadarko Funeral Home Tuesday at 4 p.m. conducted by Rev. F.L. Farrington. Interment following in the Anadarko Cemetery.
