Clarence E. 'Ducky' Vance of Honey Brook, formerly of Exton Clarence E. "Ducky" Vance, 66, a long time resident of Exton and most recently of Honey Brook, passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2011. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Jane B. Vance. "Ducky" was the son of the late George Thomas and Mildred Elizabeth Vance and was predeceased by his daughter, Karen. In addition to his wife, he is survived by four daughters, Patricia Vance, Loreene Castle, Beth-Anne Heidelbaugh and Cami Truax. He is also survived by his brother, George and his sisters, Peggy, Carol and Cindy, as well as 13 grandchildren, whom he adored and his beloved pets, Tiny, Lucky and Kitty. He enjoyed movies, cooking and spending time with his family. "Ducky" recently retired after 42 years of working at Church Farm School. Clarence's Life Celebration will be held at 12 noon, on Saturday, January 29, at the Church Farm School's Chapel, 1001 E. Lincoln Hwy., Exton, PA 19341. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12 noon. Interment, Hopewell U.M. Cemetery in Downingtown, PA 19335. Arrangements by the Ralston & Bredickas Life Celebration Home, (610)269-3041.
