She was a homemaker and a member of the Bull Street Baptist Church and she attended the Statesboro Primitive Baptist Church while in Statesboro. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Jack Denmark Sr.
Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Mary Jo and Frank Harrison of Jesup;
three sons and daughters-in-law, Jack and Norma Denmark of Iva, S.C., Robert and Doris Denmark of Knoxville, Tenn.,and John and Barbara Denmark of Statesboro;
one sister, Daisy Mell Cook of Savannah; eight grandchildren,
Robert J. Harrison, Frank Harrison III, Mary Ann Hutto, Paula Paine, Denny Denmark, Anita Denmark, Serena Denmark, Rebecca Williams; 11 great-grandchildren, several
nieces and nephews and a special friend, Freida Street.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 1-2:30 p.m. at Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of
Hodges-Moore Funeral Home with Elder Randy Waters officiating. Burial will be in
Eastside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to
Baptist Village Nursing Home, 2650 Carswell Ave., Waycross, Ga. 31503.
Hodges-Moore Funeral Home of Statesboro is in charge of the arrangements.
