Mrs. Elizabeth Jane Smith Baxter, 85, formerly of Bentleyville, died Tuesday, October 23, 1956, in the Baptist Home Castle Shannon boulevard, Pittsburgh.
She was born in Somerset Township, September 23, 1871.
Mrs. Baxter was a member of the Bentleyville Baptist Church. She had been a resident of the Baptist Home for the past six years.
Surviving are her foster son, Clyde Baxter, Michigan; two nieces, Mrs. Verna Hall, Bentleyville, Mrs. Myrtle Degolia, Kane; two nephews, Albert Smith, Monongahela; and Branson Smith, Pittsburgh.
Mrs. Baster was the widow of Samuel J. Baxter.
