Cecil Kokensparger, 76, of Orlando, Fla., died at 4:30pm Wednesday at an Orlando nursing home. He had been in failing health for several years.
Mr. Kokensparger was born Nov. 12, 1903 {sic 19 Oct 1903} in Zanesville, the son of George and Lena Stoneburner Kokensparger.
A resident of the Orlando area for the past 15 years, he was a former employee of the old Standard Tile Co. at Zanesville and was a former member of the Central Trinity United Methodist Church in Zanesville. Surviving are his wife, the former Bessie McKnaughton; one son, John W. Kokensparger of Brunswick, Ohio; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. The body was cremated and memorial services will be held at a later date.
