Lucinda Benshoof was born 14 Jun 1837 in Pine, Indiana, Pennsylvania to David and Martha Stewart. She married Jacob J. Benshoof, a son of John and Catharine Benshoof, about 1856 after his first wife, her sister, Sarah Stewart, died in childbirth. She and Jacob had 9 children and lived in Blue Grass for their entire lives. She died 27 Aug 1920 in Union, Johnson, Iowa and is buried in Blue Grass Cemetery in Sect. E2, Lot 11. She was 83 years old. There is s small marker that is apparently hers.
