Native of Hickory Dies Of Injuries Receive In Train-Car Crash

Dunn, N.C., Aug. 8 (AP) - Mrs. Virginia Taylor Bryan, 67 year old Dunn tourist court operator, died today of injuries received last Thursday when her automobile was struck by a freight train at a crossing here.
Mrs. Bryan, a native of Hickory, Va., had been in a critical condition at Dunn Hospital since the accident. Grover C. Henderson, Harnett County coroner, is continuing an investigation of the accident.
Brief funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at the Cromartie Funeral Home here. The body then will be taken to Norfolk, Va. (to the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments) for funeral services Thursday. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. John F. Broerman, of Cleveland, Ohio, Mrs. Donald Locke and Mr. Scott Bagby, both of Norfolk and Mrs. Urla B. Newbill, of Dunn; a brother, C.W. Taylor, Sr., of Decatur, Ga. and a sister, Miss Shirley Granberry, of Norfolk.
