George Garland Cline, 91, a resident of Albuquerque since 1947, passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2004. He is survived by his son, Tom Cline and wife, Sharon of Willard, NM; daughters, Georgia Sue Duncan and husband, Charles of Loving, NM and Patsy Batts and husband, Cecil of Albuquerque; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; sister, Irene Cook of Graham, TX; brother-in-law, Edgar Bryant of Texas; and nephews, Jimmy and Johnny Bryant, both of Texas. George was preceded in death by his wife, Susie Cline.

He was a sheet metal worker for 33 years and a member of the sheet metal workers' union for 60 years. George was a cowboy and loved to hunt and fish, was a lifetime member of the NRA, and the Isaac Walton League. George was also a member of the Netherwood Park Church of Christ since 1960.

Services will be held on Wednesday, 10:00 a.m., at Netherwood Park Church of Christ, 5101 Indian School Rd. NE. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Pallbearers will be Will Cline, Tay Cline, Charles Duncan, Carl Garland Duncan, T.J. Duncan, and Bobby Jack Duncan. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Batts and Clint Cline. Friends may visit French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel on Tuesday, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Netherwood Park Church of Christ, 5101 Indian School Rd. NE, 87110.
