DNB - Struck by a train near Fort Monmouth, NJ

Son of Michael Albert and Cora Lee Lybrand Smith.

WILLISTON - Funeral services will be held at the Williston Baptist Church Tuesday afternoon at 4 o'clock Eastern War Time for Lieut. Daniel W. Smith, with the Rev. John Joyner officiating. Interment will be in the Williston Cemetery.

Lieutenant Smith was the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. M.A. Smith of Williston and was fatally injured in a train accident at Little Silver, NJ last Friday night.

Besides his parents, Lieutenant Smith is survived by two brothers, Lieutenant Lybrand Smith of Camp Shelby, Miss. and Herbert Smith of Williston.
