Ruby Estelle Authur Raymond, passed away on December 30, 2010. Gone from our sight, but never from memories. Gone from our touch, but never our hearts!
She was born September 17, 1921 in Madisonville, Texas, but was a long-time resident of Pearland. She was a devoted member of South Main Baptist in Pasadena and proud member of the Maverick's Class.
Our beloved "Nanny" was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Jack. She is survived by her daughters and their spouses, Linda and Noel Kohler and Denice and Henry Buchanan ;grandchildren Rick and Traci Barrett, David and Lynn Barrett, Brent and Helena Buchanan and Brooke and Jeremy Hinton; great-grandchildren, Carissa, Sierra, Chloe and Jagger Barrett, Skylar Hinton, Zane Buchanan, Makenna Hinton and Kira Buchanan; and numerous onther family members and friends.
A Celebration of Ruby's Life will be held on Monday January 3, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of SouthPark Funeral Home. A Gathering of family and friends will begin one hour prior to the service on Monday.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to South Main Baptist Church, 4300 East Sam Houston Parkway South, Pasadena, Texas 77505.
