Joseph Lawrence Reilly I (1920-2010)

Obituary:
Joseph L. Reilly, 90, of Bradenton, passed away on December 20, 2010. He was born in Union City, New Jersey and moved to Bradenton in 1984. Joseph was a volunteer Fireman for Hook & Ladder Co. #17 in Maywood, New Jersey. He was a proud WWII Army Veteran in the First Division, 16th Infantry from 1939-1944, serving in North Africa, Sicily and Italy being awarded a Purple Heart with three Oak Leaf Clusters. He was a member of the New York Stereotyper's Union #1 for 32 years. Joe is survived by his loving wife Eloise of 68 years, devoted father of Dale Paglinco and James Reilly and the late Joseph Reilly Jr., grandfather to Christopher Paglinco, James Reilly Jr. and Daniel Paglinco. Graveside services will be held at Sarasota National Cemetery on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at 2:00pm with Kirby Stewart, American Legion Post #24 Honor Guard. Covell Funeral Home.
