ADERMANN, ESTHER MAE—Esther Mae Adermann was born to Gus and Emma Stoldorf Adermann on December 8, 1920, at Shickley, and passed away on February 2, 1985, at the Fillmore County Hospital, Geneva, at the age of 64 years, 1 month and 24 days. She was one of two children in the family.

Esther lived on farms around Shickley and west of Geneva until moving to Shickley in 1934. She attended school at Shickley Public School and graduated from high school in 1938. She worked in the Shickley State Bank for a number of years. In 1954 she moved to Geneva. From 1961 until 1982, Esther was employed as clerk-cashier for Nebraska Public Power District until retirement due to ill health.
Esther was baptized and confirmed in the Zion Lutheran church in Shickley. She transferred membership to Grace Lutheran when moving to Geneva in 1942.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gus and Emma.
Esther is survived by her sister, Helen, and by cousins and many friends.

Funeral services were conducted from the Grace Lutheran church on Tuesday, February 5, with the Rev. Stuart Zak officiating. Laverna Everts accompanied Susan Baumann who sang “Abide with Me” and “The Lord is my Shepherd.”

Serving as pallbearers were Stuart Gratopp, Gary Kimbrough, Danny Domeier, Ronald Sanders, Ronald Boyes and Vaughn Domeier.

Interment was in the Geneva public cemetery.
