She is the daughter of William Land and Martha F. Shaw. She is the wife of Joseph Pink Tumlinson and the mother of William George (Ernest Tumlinson, Harvey Burnard Tumlinson, Tennie Gretna Tumlinson Allie, Evanelar Tumlinson Wedgeman, Mattie E. Tumlinson, Joseph Elmer Tumlinson Burma Faye Tumlinson Leeper, Bessie Mae Tumlinson, Greene, Bosson, Dee Roy Tumlinon and Harlon Dean Tumlinson and the grandmother of over 38 and great-grandmother of over 30. She was a lovely, quiet, working harding woman, who raised her children and took care of most of her grandchildren during the "Great Depression" when many and most of her adult children lost their jobs and were working anywhere and everywhere to spend money home to her and her husband for the care of the children. This is something for a women who was orphaned by 13 and was finished being raised by her older brother Randall.
