Andrew Jackson Garnes, 81, of Roseville, Mich., formerly of Ripley, died July 19, 1988, in South Macomb Hospital, Warren, Mich., after a long illness. He was a farmer. Surviving: wife, Birdie Garnes; sons, Harold, Carroll and Kenneth, all of Cottageville, Roy of Roseville, Earl of Great Falls, Mont.; daughter, Mrs. Mildred Deason of Roseville; 12 grandchildren; seven great-granchildren. Services were Saturday at Parsons Funeral Home, Ripley, with the Rev. Orland Reynolds officiating. Burial was in Fairplain Cemetery.
