SPENCER -- Gertrude H. (Caron) Stevens, 82, of Howe Village, died Monday, Dec. 30, 2002 in The Meadows of Leicester.
She leaves two daughters, five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was born in Spencer, daughter of Albert J. and Ora M. (Jolie) Caron, and lived many years in St. Petersburg, Fla., and the past 12 years in Spencer. She graduated from David Prouty High School.
Mrs. Stevens worked at the Public House in Sturbridge for 20 years.
A memorial Mass will be held in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St. Burial will be in Mary, Queen of the Rosary Cemetery. J. Henri Morin & Son Funeral Home, 23 Maple Terrace, is directing arrangements.
