Earle Gilbert, 77, Succumbs

San Carlos---Earle G. Gilbert, 77, of 105 Rockridge Rd. died today after a long illness. He was a retired foreman for the Kroehler Compan7y in San Francisco and had been a resident of San Carlos for 15 years.

Mr. Gilbert was born in Aroma Park, Ill., the son of Granville and Julie Gilbert. His wife, the late Mary F. Gilbert, died about 20 years ago.

He is survived by two daughters, Miss Florence L. Gilbert who lives at the Rockridge Road address, and Mrs. Georgia Neal of Fresno; three sons, Linsey B. Gilbert of 345 De Anza Ave., San Carlos, Clifford H. Gilbert of 130 Cerrito Ave., Redwood City, and Glenn E. Gilbert of San Francisco, and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Crippen & Flynn Chapel, 1414 El Camino Real, Redwood City. Interment will be in Alta Mesa Memorial Park, Palo Alto.
