A. E. Ackley, Midwest, Dies
Albert E. Ackley died Wednesday at Natrona County Memorial Hospital. He was 64.
Born April 7, 1900 in Newcastle, he was reared and schooled there.
Mr. Ackley lived on a ranch in Newcastle with his father for some years, before going to Custer, S. D., to work in logging camps around Custer.
He moved to Midwest in 1931 when he went to work for Stanolind, remaining there until 1937 when he moved to Clatskanie, Ore., to work in logging camps.
Mr. Ackley returned to Midwest in 1945 and was employed by Stanolind until the time of his death.
He was married Sept. 27, 1959 to Dorothy Johnson of Casper at Las Vegas, Nev.
Mr. Ackley was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife; and four sisters, Mrs. Jessie Austin of Las Vegas; Mrs. Anna Allen, Newcastle; Mrs. Iris Thompson, Midwest; and Mrs. Eunice Del Real, Long Beach, Calif.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Bustard Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
