FAY L. STEFFA, 93 ROCKFORD - Fay L. Steffa, 93, of Rockford died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2010, in PA Peterson Center for Health. Born Oct. 28, 1917, in Rockford, the son of Frances (Lind) and Floyd Steffa. Fay married Shirley R. Rackey on July 12, 1947, in Flint, Mich.; she died Aug. 11, 2003. He graduated from Rockford High School, Class of 1935, and he worked as a machinist at Ingersoll from 1935 to 1984. Member of Third Presbyterian Church, was active with the Scottish Rite Masons and a Shriner for many years. Fay's hobbies included trains and baseball.
