Mary E. Vianco, 88, of Delphi, died Feb. 23, 1994, in St. Elizabeth Healthcare Center, Delphi where she had resided seven and one-half years.
She was born March 21, 1905, the daughter of John and Ida Lane Sagers. Her marriage was to John F. Vianco in 1923, and he preceded in death in 1948.
She was a graduate of Delphi High School in 1923. She was a member of Delphi United Methodist Church and Delphi American Legion Auxiliary. Mrs. Vianco worked at Alcoa in Lafayette during World War II, and was a waitress at Bob's Cafe in Delphi for several years. She enjoyed playing cards and cooking.
Surviving are one son, Robert John Vianco of Lafayette, and one daughter, Genevieve MacIntire of Delphi, three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers.
Services were held at Horn Funeral Home on Saturday with Rev. Donald Ashley officiating. Burial was in Masonic Cemetery.
