William Chevalier, 87, of 543 N.Jackson street died at 12:05 pm yesterday at his residence.He had been in failing health for a number of years.
Mr.Chevalier was born at Kingston,Ohio,Sept,29, 1858, a son of the late Thomas H.and Priscilla Chevalier. He had spent the greater part of his life in Piatt and Macon counties and had been living at the home of Mrs.Grace Cowgill for many years. His last employment was with the Greenwood cemetery.
The body was has been taken to the J.J.Moran & Sons funeral home where friends may call after 5 pm today. The funeral will be held at 10 am, Friday at the chapel with burial in Greenwood cemetery.
