Former First Lady of Louisiana 1939-1940, 1948-1952, 1956-1960. Widow of Governor Earl K. Long. Sister-in-law of Governor Huey Pierce Long.
"Miss Blanche" and "Uncle Earl" were married 17 August 1932, they had no children. At the time of her husbands death in 1960 they were separated.
Mrs. Long was the daughter of Robert H. and Beulah Talley Revere. She was a Methodist.
