Mrs. Havard was the daughter of Marnie Holmes and Jim Henderson. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved her family and church. She was a member of Eastview First United Pentecostal Chirch, where she taught Sunday School for a number of years. She was also a member of Lufkin Eastern Star. She graduated from Diboll High School and Pineywoods Business College. She retired from Parker's Department Store as a shoe sales clerk.
Survivors included her daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Jerry Sparks; son and daughter-in-law, Gene Neal and Carrie Havard; grandchildren, Pam Grimm and Tammy Giles; great-grandchildren, Alice Davis, Peyton Giles and Jeremy Giles.
Mrs. Havard was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Noah Lee Havard, son, Clayton Lee Havard; granddaughter, Aleesa Ruth Havard; 5 sisters and 2 brothers.
