Edd Lawlor Davis, Jr., age 56, and his daughter, Brittney Ervin Davis, age 22, both of Millington, TN, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2010 in Memphis. Visitation for both will be 5-8 p.m. on Monday, November 29, and funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, November 30, all at First Baptist Church of Millington. Interment to follow at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery. Mr. Davis was co-owner of Edd Davis & Son Construction Co. for 35 years. Miss Davis was a senior at Crichton College/Victory University, which she attended on softball and soccer scholarships. Mr. Davis leaves his wife, Brenda Gail Davis of Millington, his parents, Edd Sr. and Dora Davis of Millington; two sisters, Donna Girard of Millington and Judy Holland of Atoka, TN. Miss Davis leaves her mother, Brenda Gail Davis; her Davis grandparents and her maternal grandparents, Ollion and Barbara Ervin of Millington. The family requests that memorials be directed to the Edd and Brittney Davis Memorial Fund at any First Tennessee Bank.
