Mr. Calvin Thomas Counsell of Fulton,KY and formerly of South Fulton,TN died Sunday, November 21, 2010 at the Parkway Regional Hospital in Fulton.

He was a member of the Smith Street Church of Christ in South Fulton,TN and had retired from the former Brown Shoe Company in Union City,TN where he worked as a machine operator. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served in the Korean War and was a member of the V.F.W.

He is survived by a daughter & son in law Patricia & Gleyn Twilla of Dyersburg, TN, several nieces and nephews, and a special friend Elizabeth Etherton of Fulton,KY.

He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Ann (Perry) Counsell, his parents: Elijah Thomas Counsell and Jewell Alice (Robertson)Counsell Rose, and a sister Mary Meadows.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in the Obion Co. Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral from 5-8 pm on Tues. and after 8 am Wed. until the funeral hour.
