OBITUARY:
The funeral service of Mr. Sylvester Swartz of Rochelle, Illinois who passed away in Edmonton on Friday, October 26, at the age of 84 years, was held Wednesday afternoon at 2'oclock from the South Edmonton Baptist Church. Rev. T. B. McDormand officiated and interment was made in the Mount Pleasant cemetary. The pallbearers were: Messrs A.L. Marks, C.Allison, J. Mc Donald, J. Stephenson, W. Place and R.H. Allan. A large number of beautiful floral tributes were received. He leaves to mourn his loss, besides his loving wife in Rochelle, Illinois, four daughters: Mrs. Ballinger of Shelby, Montana, Mrs. Nelson of Harwick, Penn, Mrs. P.Ring of and Mrs. Carruthers, both of Edmonton, Alberta; and six sons, Henry of Great Falls, Montana, Beauman of Calgary, Alberta, Giles of Harwich, Penn., Floyd of Rochelle, Ill., Albert of Jackson, Mich. and Joel of MacKay, Alberta.
