1860 U.S. Census Westminster, Worcester County, Massachusetts. JOEL B. BAKER age 18, an apprentice shoe manufacturer. Parents: Alden B. Baker age 40, a chair maker, and Eliza A. Baker age 38.

1880 U.S. Census Marlboro, MA. JOEL B. BAKER age 39, works in shoe shop. Wife is Nancy E. Baker age 39. Two daughters: Jennie Baker age 12, and Annie O. Baker age 10.

1900 U.S. Census Marlboro, MA. JOEL B. BAKER age 56, works as a night watchman. Wife is Abbie Baker age 56. Daughter Annie O. Cutting 33, and Annie's son Edward Cutting age 8. Another daughter of Joel is Georgiana Baker age 12. Also there is Joel's mother-in-law Olivia B. Hosmer age 76.

1910 U.S. Census Marlboro, MA. JOEL B. Baker age 67, widower, watchman in a shoe factory. He is living with his daughter Georgiana M. Garcia age 22, who is married 3 years to Manuel M. Garcia, born in Portugal, age 25, a sorter in a shoe factory. Their son is Manuel B. Garcia age 2.

1920 U.S. Census Marlboro, MA. There is no Joel B. Baker living with his daughter Georgiana M. Garcia and family.

I have a page from Westminster, Massachusetts history re: Joel B. Baker, son of Alden & Eliza B., 2/4/1841. Mustered into Co. H 36th Regiment under Col. Henry Bowman Aug. 1862, served as Corporal. Probably at Fredericksburg and other places with regiment, discharged June 8 1863. ___________________________
