Mrs. Catherine Emery, aged 87 years, died at 5:30 o'clock this morning from apoplexy, at the home of R. Parsons, 316 west North street. The deceased was a native of Ireland. She leaves a son, who is expected to arrive from Zanesville this evening. Arrangements for the funeral have not been made.

Abram Emery today received the sad intelligence that his mother had died very suddenly of apoplexy at 6 o'clock this morning at her home in Lima. The remains will be brought here for interment. The funeral will take place from Mr. Emery's residence on the Coopermill road.

Abram Emery, of the Coopermill road, was called to Lima yesterday by the death of his mother, Mrs. Katherine Emery. The deceased was eighty-six years of age and her death was caused by apoplexy. The remains will be brought here tomorrow and the funeral will be held from Mr. Emery's residence as soon as relatives in Texas can be communicated with.
