The hearts of family and friends are very heavy as we mourn the passing of Steve I. Obiague, age 51. Steve was born February 9th, 1959 to John and Lucie Obiague. He graduated from Antioch High in 1977. He was employed with Waste Management, Teamsters Local 315, where he just celebrated 25 years of service.

Steve was an active member of ECV Chapter 1849 and local Chapter 13. Steve will be remembered for his unmatched zest for life, spending time camping, riding his Harley, concerts and keeping his calendar filled with social activities. He was known for his unbelievable energy, caring heart, and sincere love for family and friends.

Steve was a devoted son, a wonderful brother, brother-in-law to Tricia ( Jeff), Christian, sister Gina, a loving uncle to Kaley and Krista Parker and doting owner of Maggie, his chocolate lab. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to: Children's Hospital and Research Center Foundation, 2201 Broadway, Suite 600, Oakland, CA, 94612-3017, Attention: Kara De La Paz. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Friday, October 8, 2010 at Holy Rosary Church, 1313 A Street, Antioch, CA. A gathering to honor, remember and celebrate Steve"s life will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at 1:00pm at the VFW Hall, 815 Fulton Shipyard Road, Antioch, CA. Hosted by Clampers Local 13.
