Casket burial. Was buried in Oak Mound Cemetery on 19 Sep 1966.

Married Alfred and Anna Olson's daughter, Olga. Was a member of the Oak Mound Farmers Club. After their marriage, Emil went to Kragnes and managed the Alfred Olson Elevator. In 1924, he joined the Peavey Elevator Company and managed country elevators in several towns in North Dakota and Minnesota. He stayed extended times at both Halstad and Sabin. He was a member of the Oak Mound Congregational Church.

Emil O. Turing Funeral Monday

The funeral for Emil O. Turing, 77, of 2402 10th St. S., Moorhead, will be at 2 Monday in Wright Chapel, Rev. Vendel W. Olson, Bethesda Lutheran Church, officiating. He died Friday.

Mr. Turing was born in Sweden Jan. 25, 1889, and came to Fargo in 1907. He had been a grain elevator manager at Arena, N. D., and Halstad and Sabin, Minn., before retiring in 1956. He was a member of Oak Mound Congregational Church at Kragnes, Minn.

He married Olga Olson, Dec. 13, 1917, at Moorhead, who died in 1945. He leaves one son and two daughters, Stewart A. Turing, 1009 19th Ave. S., Fargo; Mrs. Marlyn (Anna) Lein, 1124 24th Ave. S., and Mrs. Alvin (Ethel) Dahl, 509 6th St. S., both Moorhead; a sister, Mrs. Emma Sullivan, 727 Oak St., Fargo; and five grandchildren.

Emil Turing Rites on Monday

Emil O. Turing, 2401 10th St. S., Moorhead, died early Friday morning in the Moorhead hospital. He was 77.

Mr. Turing, born Jan. 25, 1889 in Sconing, Sweden, came to this country and Fargo in 1907. He was affiliated with the Peavey Company from 1923 until his retirement in 1956. Mr. Turing managed elevators at Arena, N. Dak., Larimore, N. Dak., Garnder, N. Dak., Halstad and Sabin, from where he retired. He made his home in Moorhead since that time.

His marriage to Olga A. Olson took place in Moorhead on Dec. 13, 1917. She died in 1945.

Survivors include two daughters and one son: Mrs. Marlin (Anna) Lein, 1124 24th Ave. S., Moorhead; Mrs. Alvin (Ethel) Dahl, 509 Sixth St. S., Moorhead; and Stewart A. of 1009 19th Ave. S., Fargo; one sister, Mrs. Emma Sullivan, 727 Oak St., Fargo; and five grandchildren. One brother preceded him in death.

Mr. Turing was a member of Oak Mound Congregational Church at Kragnes. The funeral will be Monday afternoon at 2 p.m. in Wright Funeral Chapel, Rev. Vendel W. Olson, pastor of Bethesda Lutheran Church, officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be Milton Gee Sr., Oscar Andree, Andrew Larson, O. W. Polle, Christ Brendemuhl, and Anton Durensky. Active pallbearers will be Robert John Olson, Harry Fillafer, Alvern, James and Dean Olson and Arnold Larson. Kenneth Sorvik will be soloist and Mrs. Leo Arnold, organist.

Burial will be in Oak Mound Cemetery near Kragnes.
