MARY KINNEY FUNERAL HELD

Born in Ireland, She Had Lived Near Baring For Sixty Years.

—Mrs. Mary Kinney, a resident of the Baring community for sixty years, died about 8 o'clock last Thursday evening of infirmities due to old age. She had been sick about a week.
—Mrs. Kinney was born in County Mayo, Ireland, the exact date of her birth being unknown. She came to Knox County when a small child with her parents, Thomas and Bridget Morley, and has lived near Baring since. Death was at the home place, two and a half miles from Baring. Her husband, Mike Kinney, has been dead many years. With her lived her son and daughter, Joe and Margaret Kinney. Another son, William, lives at Macon. Mrs. Charles Norris [Nobis] of Quincy is a step-daughter. There are seven grandchildren.
—Funeral services were held at St. Aloysius Church, Baring, Saturday, with services by the Rev. Stephen Carew. Burial was in the Catholic cemetery there.
